Richard Deitchman is an attorney based in the Sacramento office of Somach Simmons & Dunn. Rich Deitchman is licensed in Oregon and California and focuses his practice on water rights and natural resources, including litigation in state and federal courts. With both a technical and legal background, Rich enjoys the interplay of issues that involve, for example, a water balance computer model and a 1909 water code. Somach Simmons and Dunn is counsel to Tulelake Irrigation District and lead counsel for the collection of Klamath Reclamation Project contractors known in the Klamath Basin Adjudication as Klamath Project Water Users or KPWU.
