Stan Gregory, is Professor of Fisheries in the Oregon State University’s Department of Fisheries & Wildlife. His extensive field research and many published materials include analysis of stream ecosystems (channel dynamics, woody debris, water chemistry, benthic algae, invertebrates, fish, salamanders, and riparian vegetation); landscape perspectives for stream ecosystems, the influence of human activities on ecosystem structure and function; historical reconstruction of rivers and riparian forests; and the development of restoration perspectives and practices that are consistent with natural stream processes.
