Amanda Trakas

Author Description

Amanda Trakas has a background in Landscape Architecture. She has experience working on public
information campaigns and design solution projects related to environmental justice, urban
heat, stormwater management, and air quality throughout the Phoenix metro area as well as in
Yonkers, New York. In her current role with University of Arizona Water Resources Research
Center, she serves as the Statewide Water Information Manager and is involved in expanding
access to programs and resources that enhance Arizona stakeholders’ understanding of waterrelated topics such as policy, management, conservation, and available science.
