Andrew Teegarden

Andrew Teegarden is currently working as a Water Policy Associate with the WaterNow Alliance, where he advocates for sustainable water solutions. Before beginning his current role, Andrew was working as a Water Law Fellow for the Getches-Wilkinson Center. While working for the Center, Teegarden published articles, worked as a supervising attorney on the Acequia Assistance Project, and worked with the Getches-Green Clinic to oppose the change of a conditional water right. Mr. Teegarden previously interned with EPA’s Office of Regional Counsel in Region 7, researching and crafting compliance orders for violations of the Safe Drinking Water Act and Clean Water Act. Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree and J.D. from the University of Missouri—Kansas City School of LLaw,as well as an LL.M. degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Law
