Elvy Barton is a natural resources and environmental policy expert with over 15 years of experience in this field. Elvy is currently a Forest Health Management Principal at Salt River Project. In this role, she leads SRP’s forest restoration partnerships, projects, and policy efforts. Before working at SRP, Elvy was a Senior Policy Advisor at the Arizona Legislature for 10 years where she focused on water, natural resources, and environmental policy. Elvy also is an associate professor at Northern Arizona University where she teaches public sector communications. She has a Master’s in Public Administration and is currently pursuing an Executive Master’s in Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University.
