Author Description
Blue Baldwin explored the US and dabbled in a variety of sustainability-related fields in her early career, from natural building materials to socially responsible investing to roof top gardens. She eventually found her passion back in her hometown of Tucson, AZ managing a state-of-the-art garden and ecology program for Arizona’s second-largest school district in partnership with the University of Arizona. Blue joined the City of Tucson in January 2021 to manage Tucson’s brand new green stormwater infrastructure program, Storm to Shade, which builds and maintains GSI on public property throughout the city. Blue is a second-generation Tucsonan and has a master’s degree in public health from the University of Arizona. She is passionate about the power of inviting nature back into the urban environment and is a lover of the Sonoran Desert and all its creatures.
