Jenny Dumas is life-long New Mexican and founder of and principal attorney for Dumas Law Office, LLC. She currently serves as water counsel for the Jicarilla Apache Nation. She graduated from UNM School of Law, summa cum laude, in 2002 and thereafter served as a law clerk for the Honorable Harris Hartz, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Since 2003, Jenny has represented tribes and tribally-owned entities, with a concentration in tribal water rights and natural resources. She has an AV Preeminent rating (the highest rating available) from Martindale-Hubbell in the practice areas of Indians and Native Populations and Litigation and General Practice and has represented tribes in numerous water adjudications, labor disputes, voting rights challenges, employment cases, and tort claims in tribal, state, and federal courts.
