Lindsay Defrates is the Deputy Director of Communications and PIO for the Colorado River District. Her work centers on communicating with media, stakeholders, and constituents about the complexities of western water, including the Shoshone Water Rights Preservation project, while supporting the CRD’s technical, legal and policy teams who act on behalf of western slope water users.
