Michael Ramos

Michael Ramos is the co-founder and inventor of Noah System, an automated flushing technology developed to reduce water stagnation and help maintain drinking water quality within building plumbing systems. He has more than 30 years of experience in facilities engineering, plumbing systems, building operations, and infrastructure management, including leadership roles with Chicago Public Schools, where he helped develop and implement large-scale water quality testing and mitigation programs. Motivated by the Flint water crisis and the research of Dr. Marc Edwards, Ramos developed Noah as a practical engineering solution for managing water quality within internal plumbing systems. His work has included pilot programs in schools, universities, healthcare facilities, government buildings, and residential communities to evaluate automated flushing as a long-term water quality management strategy. In 2019, he testified before Congress on lead in school drinking water, and his work has been featured by the Chicago Tribune, WGN, Chicago Health Magazine, and other media outlets.
