Author Description

Darren Miller is Vice President of Forestry Programs with the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement, Inc. (NCASI), based at Mississippi State University (MSU) in Starkville. Prior to joining NCASI, he was a wildlife scientist and southern environmental research manager Weyerhaeuser Company. He holds a B.S. in Wildlife Management from Eastern Kentucky University, and an M.S. in Wildlife Ecology and a Ph.D. in Forest Resources from MSU. He is a Certified Wildlife Biologist® and the Immediate Past-President of The Wildlife Society.
